Dear Tom,
I am cultivating this plant in an mixture containing following components:
60% Perlite
20% Seramis
10% garden earth (lime rich soli with a pH of 8.2)
5% sand
5% organic material (normal soil for gardening for example Pelargonium)
In this soil I cultivate them outside in a small pot under the shelter of an apricot tree. It is relativley warm, but has a high humidity. The light is more on the shadier side.
During winter time I have it in my frost free kept glasshouse with tempretures between 1 and 5 or 6 degrees with severel other Cyps.
And this was the clue to my success. But this is how it works in my area. I don't know how it is in an other country. But up to now I had no losses with this species. I cultivate 6 wardii from which one has flowered and my be one more for next season.
Hope this helps.
All the best
