Hi Stephen,

That's what I was afraid of, seems like my climate is too warm for this species. I tried some in pure sand and perlite with the same results in March but as soon as the temperature started to rise a couple of months later I lost them. Even in the basement it gets to 24C over the summer. Outside it often gets close to 30C in my climate so I expect even adult plants would not survive. Winters are very cold here, with around -30 to 35C is not uncommon but our summers are just too hot I think.
