Well, if you take it from a biologists point of view a flavum alba would be a pure white plant with no yellow at all (red spots may be). I have to say that I have seen many many plants that were called flavum alba and in truth were a very creamy yellow. I have never seen a true alba in my life but that doesn't mean that there isn't one. I have seen a few plants that were pure white in one year and creamy in the next. That I would call a flavum semialba. I haven't seen Phytesia’s plant in person and over several years. So it is possible that their plant is true.
