Australian Quarintine has classified Cypripedium reginae as a weed.So this has put a stop to any importations of this species.
Could anybody in Australia,N.Z, U.K or European countries comment on this. Do you find it escaping into the natural environment or into agriculture land?Is it an aggressive species?
And how dependant is it on calcecolus soils/bogs?
And is it depenant on mychrohiza fungi for germination, do you think this fungi would occur out of its natural environment?
