Dear Sylvain,

I don't want to discourage you, but a plant in this condition is bound to die, even in an expert's hands. It is heavily stressed, the immuno system weakened and therefore the damaged roots and the shoot heavily infected with various pathogens. A plant like this should have never been sold and is very likely to originate from the wild. Cultivated plants normally look better.

If you want to see a healthy rhizome then click http://www.cypripedium.de/English/quality/quality.html. This is how a perfect rhizome should look like. And when you notice the difference, you will see that you don't have to worry about the cultivation of the calceolus rhizome anymore... - so sad it is. I would send the rhizome back and try to have my money refunded. Never accept such a bad quality again, that's my advice.

Sorry for not being able to help in a more positive way

Michael
