Dear fellow Cyp enthusiasts,

I would like to share some pictures with you which show three colour forms of C.macranthos. All three colours occur in big numbers in the wild which indicates that the genes for colouration in C.macranthos are stable and dominant (in contrast to alba forms of other Cyp species which only occur in very small numbers). The white and pink macranthos are grown from seed and they fall true. The "normal" coloured specimen in the middle is a division from a mature plant. The plants are grown in pot culture in a greenhouse.

Happy growing

Michael
