40-50 cm May
Flower size: medium
Emil resembles the European lady┬┤s slipper (Cypripedium calceolus) and the North American yellow lady’s slipper (Cypripedium parviflorum) but is much easier to grow in the garden. The intensely coloured flowers open in mid-May and enrich your garden with exclusive beauty. Strong plants occassionally grow two blooms on one stem. No need for winter protection: Emil is absolutely hardy. Similar looking hybrids are Chauncey and Hank Small.
Information regarding care can be found in our planting instructions.
